-
- Background:
-
- TimeSync is an application used to synchronize the date and time between two
- PalmPilots.
-
- Installation:
-
- Install TimeSync just as you would any other PalmPilot application--just open
- the file named TimeSync.prc using the InstallApp application that comes with
- the Pilot Desktop software. TimeSync should be installed on BOTH PalmPilots
- that you plan to connect to each other.
-
- Operation:
-
- TimeSync is designed to be used with PalmPilotGear/TealPoint's DirectSync
- Connection Kit, Gary Mayhak's HotLink connector, or any other Pilot-to-Pilot
- type cable where the TX and RX pins are crossed.
-
- Simply connect the two PalmPilots together using the hardware cable.
-
- To set the local time from a remote unit, click the "Receive Time" button.
-
- To send your local time to a remote unit, click the "Send Time" button.
-
- In order for TimeSync to function correctly, one must first click the "Receive
- Time" button on one PalmPilot and then click the "Send Time" button on the
- other PalmPilot.
-
- The format of the time and date displayed on the PalmPilot match your user
- preferences.
-
- Bug Reports, Comments, etc.:
-
- This application was designed as a proof-of-concept and is being release as
- freeware. HOWEVER, if you are using TimeSync for any business or commercial
- use, please contact granddesign@mindspring.com for licensing and registration

-
- If you encounter any bugs or have any suggestions for upgrades, extra features,
